Laramie Christian Academy is committed to align all teaching and curriculum with our “Big Three.” To do this well, we take a classical approach by utilizing the Trivium.
At Laramie Christian Academy, we use the classical Trivium (dating back to the Antiquity) as a framework to progress through educational content while simultaneously establishing a Biblical Worldview among students.
A child’s age largely determines their developmental phase and thus indicating a likely learning zone. Knowing this helps us promote higher-level thinking at each age and stage. In order of complexity, the Trivium progresses though grammar, logic, rhetoric. However, at any age, all three components are present, one area is just loaded heavier according to the developmental age and stage of the children
